Who's Counting?

One great thing about this team is the fact that they find pride in playing a good game - no matter how it turns out. Yesterday, they played a good game against Montrose and were unfazed by the final score (9-19). The girls continued to play as a team and build on their communication, passes, and plays!

Rachel knocked in 4 goals (and continued to take any shot she could). She even made one goal off a clear from Maddy; it's not often that a goalie gets an assist! Kelly, and Isabel scored their first goals of the season, Danielle added another goal to her total, and Katelyn scored two, including a best-thing-since-sliced-bread-goal in the second half. Morgan played a fierce game and was all over the field, right alongside Mackenzie and Stephanie. Kiley tried out defense and did a phenomenal job. Ashley and Amanda continued to corral Montrose's offenders throughout the game, and Maddy never stopped trying to anticipate the next shot.

Diane, Jess, Erin, Megan, Motoria and Katy all made a difference on the field, and waited patiently for me to sub them in when I got too caught up in the game.

We play Metro lacrosse on Friday and would love to see you there!
