The girls beat Chapel Hill 12 - 8 in a beautiful game at Iron Rail. The girls were determined to win from the first draw and played hard all the way to the last second. Each girl played an amazing game & those on the sidelines were loud and intense throughout.
Our goals were scored by Eden Bellow (1), Juliette Larzelere (3), Krissy Churchill (2), Sam Silverman (2 - including an honest to goodness buzzer-beating shot to end the game!) and Jenna Hunt (4). Eliza Woodwoth, Katelyn Ming and Kristen Lqrocque were essential on offense and defense and made the assists on many of the goals. On defense, Sarah Streck, Amanda Doyle, and Meredith Hofmaier quickly figured out Chapel Hill's strengths and weaknesses and played accordingly. We were tied at 6 by half time, and they made blocked all but two shots in the second half. Katy Aldrich continues to improve in goal - we couldn't do it without her!
