Waring, version 2.0

The girls took on Waring for a second time today and played a much stronger, more competitive game. Final score today was 10 - 17; three weeks ago we ended 4 - 12.

The difference makers today were Ashley, Morgan and Danielle. Ashley played a fierce game at cover point and interfered with more Waring pays than I can count. Morgan caught some essential passes, assisted on two goals and scored one of her own. She even earned special mention from Waring's coach :) Danielle fought through each draw and scored her first hat trick!

Rachel continued to keep everyone on their toes and scored 4 goals (upping her season total to 35.. not too bad!). Stephanie added another goal and continued to demonstrate her clean, smart style of play. Isabel also scored today and found ways to be in the right place in the right time. Kiley played a phenomenal game and made crucial plays on defense and offense. After forcing a bunch of turnovers, Amanda made the great decision to give the ball to Maddy, and Maddy made sure to make some great clears throughout the game (not to mention 16 saves!). Katelyn and Kelly kept things moving on offense, Mackenzie continued to be a great defensive wing, and Katy did a great job of marking up the wily Waring girls.

Jess, Motoria, Megan, Diane all spent some time in the field in preparation for our JV game tomorrow (away vs. Gann). Wish us luck!
